webMethods Enterprise JavaBeans Adapter 6.5.2

Software AG  is pleased to introduce the webMethods Enterprise JavaBeans Adapter 6.5.2 for integrating with EJB-based business applications. The webMethods EJB Adapter provides seamless and real-time communication with application servers, enabling you to exchange data between a webMethods Integration Server and Enterprise JavaBeans on a J2EE application server. This release of the webMethods Enterprise JavaBeans Adapter provides the following enhancements:

- Support for EJB 3.0 Specification: Using the webMethods EJB Adapter 6.5.2, users now have access to EJBs that comply with the EJB 3.0 specifications using JNDI lookup. The adapter also includes additional adapter service templates for use with EJB 3.0, while still supporting services for use with EJB 2.1.

- Configurable JNDI Lookup: webMethods EJB Adapter 6.5.2 now provides the ability to search using the JNDI context or a name to search the deployed EJBs on the EJB server. For backwards compatibility, users can still search the entire JNDI tree without providing a name or context. If the user has configured multiple application servers, the search option can be customized for each application server instance.

- Support for Additional Enterprise JavaBean Servers

Community Discussion Forums back on-line!!

We have finished the upgrade to the Developer Community discussion forums and the Adabas, Natural, EntireX, Tamino and Crossvision forums have been merged into one single forum system.
Please note:
If you had URLs bookmarked or stored which point to individual forum categories or individual forums we will re-route these automatically to the corresponding new system but if you have URLs which point to an individual thread topic then this will no longer work. (Note though that references to posts within the forum system itself will continue to work correctly as they will be updated as part of the merge process).
You will now only be able to log into the forum system with the e-mail address you supplied when you registered. Your passwords will be carried over from the old forum systems and if you were previously registered with more than one system then you will be able to use any of them to logon to the new consolidated system.
We will now also check and update any reference to the forum systems within the Developer Community, but if you find any links which do not seem to work or if you have any problems with the new forums system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
